Terms of Service

Effective August 27, 2026 · dparents.com

We've written these terms in plain language because we're a community built on trust — especially important when your audience is families and children. Please read them carefully.

01

About dparents.com

dparents.com is a community directory for parents who travel with their children — including worldschooling and homeschooling families. We curate and organize links to educational resources, creators, providers, groups, regulations by country, and other information useful to travelling families.

We are not a school, an educational institution, or a licensed childcare service. We are a directory and community platform.

02

Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using dparents.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and creators or providers with a profile on the platform.

03

What We Do — and What We Don't

We are a link directory. dparents.com collects, organizes, and links to resources published elsewhere on the internet — blogs, YouTube channels, Instagram accounts, Facebook groups, podcasts, providers, and more. We do not host, reproduce, or claim ownership of third-party content.

We do not verify the accuracy of external content. Links lead to third-party websites and platforms. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or accuracy of those external pages.

We do not provide educational, legal, or medical advice. Nothing on dparents.com constitutes professional advice of any kind. Always consult qualified professionals for decisions affecting your children's education, health, or legal status.

04

User Accounts

Some features of dparents.com may require you to create an account. By creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Not share your account with others
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

05

Creator & Provider Profiles

dparents.com may feature profiles for content creators, educational providers, and community groups. These profiles are created to help families discover relevant resources.

Our commitment

Creators and providers can claim their profile, update their information, and request removal at any time. We are committed to only featuring people who want to be part of this community.

If you find a profile about you or your organization and would like to update it, claim it, or have it removed, please contact us using the information in Section 14.

Verified profiles are marked with a badge indicating the creator or provider has claimed and confirmed their listing.

07

Images & Media

dparents.com operates an opt-in image policy. We do not automatically display images associated with creators, providers, or groups. Images are only shown when a creator or provider has actively chosen to provide one through their verified profile.

This means:

  • No profile images are sourced from third-party platforms without consent
  • Resource and video listings show text and links only — no thumbnails or previews pulled from external sources
  • Creators control what visual representation, if any, appears on their profile

If you see an image associated with your profile that you did not provide or authorize, please contact us immediately and we will remove it.

08

Children's Privacy

dparents.com is a platform for parents, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. The site is designed to be used by adults on behalf of their families.

We are particularly sensitive to any content involving children and take the following positions:

  • We do not feature or link to content that identifies, targets, or endangers minors
  • We do not display images of children without parental or guardian consent
  • We review and remove content flagged as involving children without appropriate consent

If you believe content on our site puts a child's privacy or safety at risk, please contact us immediately.

09

Community Guidelines

dparents.com is built on the belief that travelling with children opens up the world for families. We ask everyone in our community to uphold that spirit.

Do:

  • Share and recommend resources that genuinely help travelling families
  • Treat other community members with respect
  • Report content you believe is inaccurate, harmful, or inappropriate

Don't:

  • Submit spam, promotional content, or links designed to mislead
  • Impersonate creators, providers, or other users
  • Share content that is harmful to children or families
  • Use the platform to harass or target individuals

We reserve the right to remove any content or account that violates these guidelines, at our discretion.

10

Intellectual Property

The dparents.com name, logo, design, and original content — including our curation, organization, and editorial descriptions — are owned by dparents.com and may not be reproduced without permission.

Third-party content linked from our platform remains the intellectual property of its respective creators. Linking to their content does not transfer any rights to dparents.com or its users.

If you believe any content on our platform infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us with the details and we will address your request promptly.

11

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

dparents.com is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the information provided is always current or complete.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, dparents.com and its operators shall not be liable for:

  • Any damages arising from your use of the site or linked content
  • Inaccurate, outdated, or unavailable information in our directory
  • Actions taken by third-party creators, providers, or platforms
  • Any loss of data, revenue, or opportunity related to use of the platform

You use dparents.com at your own risk. Always independently verify important information before making decisions for your family.

12

Content Removal Requests

We respect the rights of creators, providers, and individuals. If you would like content about you or your organization updated or removed from dparents.com, we will act on your request.

How to request removal

Send us a message at the contact address in Section 14. Include the URL of the content in question and a brief explanation of your request. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

Removal requests involving children's privacy or safety will be treated as urgent and addressed as quickly as possible.

13

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of dparents.com after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

If we make significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users.
